Heather Stephenson is the president of Mortgagee Title Services, Inc. The humble beginning of this company began 30+ years ago with her business partner Lou Sutherland (27th July 1948 – 17th May 2013) by her side and it has evolved into a fulfilling career in the Orlando Title Insurance Industry. Heather’s career began in 1985 with a local Title Insurance Company where she found herself immersed in the ever progressing world of real estate and became interested in how she could make a difference. Over time Heather began to shift her focus on the value of owning and operating a small business that would focus on individualized customer service, honesty and integrity. With that, Mortgagee Title Services, Inc. was created. There have been many industry challenges over the years but she uses those challenges to create opportunities to excel in the field of Title Insurance. “The true accomplishment is that through good times and bad we have maintained our Company and small business attitude. We treat our customers as we ourselves want to be treated.” She feels as though small businesses are the cornerstone to our community and goes out of her way to support other local business owners and it is her tried and true attitude that sets her and her experienced staff at Mortgagee Title Services, Inc. apart from others.

Cat is the Director of Business Development. She has worked in this capacity for 18 years. Her prior experience was as a paralegal for several law firms specializing in corporate/transaction law, as well as probate/guardianship and real estate law. This experience gives her the much needed edge when it comes to working with these types of matters in real estate. Cat currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Orlando Regional Realtor Association, Mortgage Bankers Association of Central Florida and Base Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation.  She is a past Director for Women’s Council of Realtors and the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals.  She won the Humanitarian of the Year in 2013, Affiliate of the Year in 2012 and 2014, as well as Recruiter of the Year in 2011 for Women’s Council of Realtors. Cat has been a member of the Orlando Regional Realtors Association since 2006 and won the Affiliate of the Year in 2009 and 2016. Favorite college football team is University of Florida – Go Gators! Favorite professional football team is Pittsburgh Steelers.

As a closer and processor, Ryan has a knack for getting the job done right. He’s been with the company for over a decade and enjoys the personal interactions that come with the territory in his profession. When not in the office, you’ll no doubt find him somewhere in the great outdoors.

Like many associates at Mortgagee Title, Ashley has been with the company for over 10 years. Currently, she works as an escrow officer and graduated from Rollins College in 2010. She considers the small business and family-like vibe of Mortgagee Title to be one of the best aspects of working at the company. Oh, and she met the late, great Billy Mays.

Calyn is one of our superior processors.  She came to the company right out of college.  She works with all aspects of processing from the receipt of the file to closing to warehousing. Calyn graduated from the fantastic Florida State University and isn’t shy about her love for those ‘Noles.

Cindy Bedsole brings years of experience in the mortgage industry having served as Vice President of Mortgage Services for a large real estate firm in Orlando. As one of our closing agents, Cindy’s dedication to detail guarantees our clients smooth and reliable closings. Cindy believes that, “The best part of her job is meeting great people every day!” In her spare time, she plays a lot of pinball . . . even participating in a league.
